You may have a plugged AC water condensation drain hole, it drains under the car at the base of the engine bulkhead on the passenger's side.

to bleed the cooling system on a vs supercharged statesman .Makes sure you have coolant in the radiator and over flow botthe.turn the heater to the on position and on high.make sure you have plenty more coolant close by.with the radiator cap off and the engine idling .now top coolant up and place radiator cap on.increase idle revs so the system pressurises.now the system is warm and pressure .you can open the bleeder 1 by 1 starting at the highest point.1st couple of times you open the system you will get a lot of air ,you can stop bleeding this nipple once there is a good stream of coolant flowing.do the same with other nipples as there is 3 bleeders in total.Once all air is out do not open radiator cap again top coolant up in overflow bottle only.double check coolant level again when its cold ..

To Replace bonnet struts on a wk statesman you will need to flow the procedure below. 1.Open the bonnet fully 2.Replace one at a time . 3.Now bonnet is open grab pole and place under bonnet for extra support. 4.The strut will be mount to a ball and on the side you will also see a little rectangular clip . 5.Use a small flat blade screw drive to pop clip out once the clips out you will be able to gently work the strut off the ball on top and bottom. 6.same procedure to fit new strut hope this helps

Don't mix coolants brands. best to drain and flush the radiator and block don't forget to flush the heater also. refill with the best coolant you can find. run engine to working temp and top up radiator . don't forget to flush the overflow tank.

to have power to the radio with the key off it is wired to the wrong switch terminal ,the radio hot wire must be connected to the ACC terminal on the switch..

They came standard from the factory with an electric ariel, The ariel was located in the LHS Fr quarter panel just in front of the passenger rear vision mirror on the door. not sure if they had the adjustable electric ariel which would have an up and down arrow button just on the deck or under wear the factory head units were installed. The biggest problem for reception is if they are not earthed properly against the car. if the antenna has been replaced theres a good chance someone may have stuffed up the installation. its best to take the front left tyre off and remove the inner wheel guard/surround so you can get to the ariel unit. from there the cable just runs through the firewall panel and behind the dash to the stereo. they are easy to pull through but make sure you know which holes they came through. when pulling new cable you should remove the glove box to. just pull one of the back corners to the center and it will pop out then the rest is easy. To simplify things you could just install a manual ariel aswell (430) new electric ones may cost around $100 for a aftermarket one.

2006 no country. we can never answer that, nor v6 sizes, displacement. some cars before 2006 do not OBD2 PCM /ECM engine brains. so can not be scanned easy. on the old cars, its jumper wire and CEL lamp flashing to get DTC error codes. the CEL lamp didnt lie. it has errors. is this UK or Australia. we can guess here, you must say or its just a bs session. guessing... AUZ OBD puters. "THERE WAS NO ACROSS THE BOARD STANDARD IN AUSTRALIA BEFORE 2006". this is a fact, down under, are you?

have you tried the fuses ?

Did you check the fuse link near the +terminal?

If you mean its the "service" indicator its possible the exhaust sensor is telling the engine it is running incorrectly, fuel mixture wise. This is usually carried out by a Lambda unit in the headers. It may be rectified by an engine service but get someone to plug in a fault reader to get a better idea.

This will be detailed in a repair manual but basically remove the rear section tail shaft if flanged . If not remove the whole shaft from the car and disassemble the shaft joints near the bearing. Remove the nut and pull / press the bearing from the shaft. It should come as a complete item (bearing ,rubber mount and mounting case). Take care to mark where the flange /section comes off the splines as it is critical to position it exactly on reassembly to prevent vibration of the shaft.
