Make sure carb float isn't loose or sinking on you. This might not be it,but I've had that happen,flooding engine.
Probably the wire you fixed needs fixed correctly,but I'd replace condenser and coil and coil wire to dist. cap, making sure also that ponts didn't slip closed. don-ohio

I would do 10 ft.lbs. or 120 inch lbs. with blue Loctite on the bolts.
I can't imagine needing more than 10-15 ft/lbs. of torque.
You want to tighten it and make sure the gasket doesn't squish out very much. You tighten all bolts in a pattern like an X opposite and progressively tighter each round.

WHERE IS THE BCM FOR A 2005 Mustang V6 LOCATED AT?
Under the dash. Find the fuse panel, you found the BCM. Called GEM on Ford's. If the fuses are on the side of the dash, you still have to pull it from the bottom. Some of these are year specific and they do have to be programmed to the car.
