There are 4 engines for the Ford Focus Tammy 1.6 1.8 2.0 2.6 They are always on the engine block at front and rear sometimes on the side and sometimes on the top. Fuel filter,tune up,check battery and connection.

Probably a sensor has failed, on-board diagnostics should indicate which one.

You need to take the panel off of the inside of the door in question an look inside , there are a couple of rods hooked to it. A couple of nuts hold it fast . Go to you tube an search outside door handle replacement for 2010 ford focus , there's probably a video showing step by step on how to do it . An tools needed

Not that hard if you are mechanically inclined. The flat rate book time is .8 of an hour. You need to remove the steering wheel bezel covers and the switch is held in place by clips.

yes you do and its not a log type algerythm thingy like the M number on the older ones ,its a random generated code set into the radio ,this is to stop people like me from generating the code on web sites like this for people like you --dealer only job and anything from 20 to 40 euros is not uncommon ,look in the back of the car for a sticker under the mat in the boot ?? you never know if it was put their by the first owner as a sticker was in the paperwork when new

No its not compatible from 2000 to 2004 same hub from 2005 to 2007 same

Unhinge the glove box and lower it. You may need to remove a screw to do this. The filter will be back there I think on the left.

try running the fault code scanner to reset the CPU program that may be corrupted by the battery change.

Is engine light on dash? It could be TPS switch (throttle position sensor) on throttle body on engine.

the abs ring sensor is usually best changed by renewing the brake disc as these are hydraulicaly pressed onto the brake disc and try to remove and refit new is practically impossable without causing some sort of damage , you have to remove the brake disc anyway so just get a new one and you know everthing is ok , i should mention that best practise is to replace the brake pads (both sides ) when renewing disc's , you can't take a chance with brakes, i know it will cost a bit more but look online for the parts, will be at least 50% cheaper than local shop, and you will be sure the brakes are good

Clear the code and drive the vehicle. If the code comes back, then you know it's real condition and not a one time event. Changing the temperature sensor isn't going to remedy the situation. Most likely the thermostat will need to be replaced.

A carrier bearing usually pertains to the differential assembly and would not cause the symptom you describe. There is a problem with this transmission that causes it to not drop completely to first gear after a period of driving. Ford is aware of it but I do not believe they have initiated a recall. Call your Ford dealer(s) to see if you can find an honest man. Ask for the service manager.

have the cv joints checked out and check that the rubber boots are not loose and rubbing on the metal surrounds.

get the code from the dealer .but may be asked to prove the car is your first.

What is it doing, you hit the start button with foot on the brake and what happens? do you see dash lights come on? do you hear engine try to start? explain what happens please
