Does anybody have pictures of all 4 02 sensors, Ford Escape XLT 2004, 3.0, 6 cyl

No they are NOT interchangeable. O2 sensors are usually quite easy to find as they usually stick out at right angles to the exhaust pipe. The 'up stream' sensors are usually in or near the exhaust manifold and the 'down stream' sensors are usually further along the exhaust after the Catalytic Converter. Where yours are will depend on the layout of your exhaust system. A single tail pipe layout will have them positioned differently to a twin pipe system. Which is fitted to yours? Use the comment button below with more information and i'll try and help you find exactly where they are.

Ford Escape Airbag Light when its cold outside

When the airbag light is on it means the system is effectively switched off. A code read should provide a clue to the problem, though for best results the code reader might have to be used while the light is on.

2002 escape wont move

This sounds like a Brake lever switch has been knocked out of position or broken. I am guessing your vehicle will not shift out of Park. If you have someone to look at your brake lights while you press the brake pedal, no brake lights mean this switch is the problem. In order to shift out of Park, a signal is needed by pressing the brake pedal. Lacking this signal, the shift lever will not move. This loss of signal can also affect the starter. All depends on the way the Manufacturer wants to immobilize the vehicle to insure your foot is on the brake when you turn the key.

How to find fuel line in 2004 ford escape

possibly it did not run out but the fuel pump stopped running.. or possibly the fuel filter is clogged.. I have replace many filters that were clogged. Its under the car in front of the fuel tank. when you remove it try blowing through from the tank end of the filter, while you have it off hold a container on the fuel line and have someone turn the key. this will tell you if the pump is running. be careful.. if it is working it will squirt a lot of fuel under presure real quick !! yoiu may need a special tool to remove the filter.. Harbor Freight tools sells these for a very reasonable price. I own the Set of 4 that are anodised alumninum. for 4 different size pipes.. its almost impossible to remove the filter if it has these kind of fasteners without the correct tool.. .If you are lucky it might have the plastic clips. If so you just pull them out and replace them with the new ones that come with the filter.

I have a 20-04 ford escape. Accidentally ran it out gas. Put gas in tank but won't turn over. Ran great before. I believe i also wore the battery down low What to do?

Charge the battery. Look for a fuse or breaker for the fuel pump, if there was no gas it might pop the breaker. Try again!

Vacuum leak

An old trick to finding Vacuum leaks is to use a spray bottle of water and mist seams and vacuum solenoids while the engine is running. Check the Brake booster too!A broken EGR diaphragm can leak air into your system.

Best way (drain and fill or flush)to change tranny fluid and best non-ford fluid to use

Always flush is best. Just draining removes only 15-25% ( depending on transmission ) of your fluid leaving up to 85% old & dirty fluid to contaminate the clean. Flushing forces fresh fluid into all parts until the fluid flows out clean.

My auto transmission for a Ford 2004 Escape with 2WD only engages in reverse. When problem suddenly showed up i was able to drive car in front drive by engaging 1 or 2. stopped car and all forward mov

I would have it towed to a different shop for a second opinion. To start at the beginning, if it works in reverse but not drive the linkage is working. When you put the transmission in low or second you are bypassing most of the sensors and valves. You put it in first or second gear and it stays there. It could be a long list of things from the valve body to the pump to a solenoid or sensor. There is a good chance the problem could be fixed without needing an overhaul. You never take a knife to a gunfight, so you wouldn't have anybody but a transmission shop work on a transmission. When they recommend an overhaul, they are pulling your trans out and replacing it with someone's rebuilt out of the crate. No worries on their part.
