They normally flash fast when a bulb is burnt out . There is no flasher , SJB - smart junction box - fords BCM - body control module turns the flashers on and off .
Principles of Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) monitors the multifunction switch position by sending multiple voltage reference signals to the multifunction switch. When the multifunction switch is in the LH or RH TURN position, or the hazard lamp switch is engaged, that input signal is routed to ground.
When the SJB receives an input from the multifunction or hazard switch indicating a request for a turn signal or hazard lamps, the SJB then supplies voltage to the appropriate turn lamps.
Hooking up a factory or some other type professional scan tool to check for codes in the SJB would be the first step in a diagnoses for this .
B1499 Lamps, Left Turn Signal Failure If a turn signal is inoperative, Go To Pinpoint Test O .
If a turn signal is always on, Go To Pinpoint Test N .
B1502 Lamps, Left Turn Signal Short to Ground Go To Pinpoint Test O .
Test N .
B2282 Left Turn Signal Switch/Circuit Short to Ground Go To Pinpoint Test N .
Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

Fast flashing though, check the bulbs and in particular, the marker bulb on the left side. And never use LED bulbs in a vehicle that wasn't made for them.

Would you like to take a crack at this one Jeff. I told him, but he doesn't believe me. I remember that technical site with the guy who turned the headlights off inside the workshop to not blind another tech, and the problem on the scanner, or oscilloscope went away.

My engine starts, but the electrical system is not working
The info I
looked at was for 4 cylinder, non hybrid. In the underhood fuse box, use a testlight and check for voltage at the fuses, one of the positive battery cables goes to fuse box. Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on, so, try it both ways with testlight.
If you want I could try to look up wiring diagram for one of the components you mentioned, then you could check voltage and ground for that component.
No reverse light, all fuse good. reverse Switch?
It's not that simple anymore . The transmission range sensor switch is what they have now . This range sensor informes the PCM - engine computer what gear the vehicle is in. When you put the gear selector into reverse B+ voltage from the range sensor to the PCM tells the PCM reverse has been selected , the PCM then will energize the reverse lamp relay (located in the under hood fuse/relay box) there by turning on the reverse lamps . There are two fuse's in the under hood fuse/relay box . F27 10amp. & F35 10amp.
Standing water on drivers side floor
check drain holes in the bottom of the drivers side door. If they are clogged the water will build up and drain from the sides and on the floor. Also check the gaskets around the bottom of the door.. You may have to get on the ground and look up to check them... something that people seldom pay attention to.
How do I replace thermostat in a 2010 ford escape xlt
On the top of your radiator is a big hose. Follow that house to the top of the motor. Where that house attaches to the motor, is the thermostat housing. Housing is usually held on with 2 bolts, remove housing and you'll find the thermostat.
How much should it cost me to have the left front axle seal replaced?
The premium replacement part for this is about $22.00. I would expect labor to be around 3 hours estimated in their magic book of hours. You can expect this to cost somewhere around 300.00 to 350.00. If you are handy at all and have tools you can do this for a few swear words and about 3 to 4 hours for about 100.00. I say 100.00 because there will be minor things that come up besides the part itself.
How often to change transmission fluid
My mechanic told me every 60K miles. I just had mine changed for the first time at 89K and could tell something was funky. Now that it's changed, I can tell there is a difference with the way it drives.
My Escape (58K and up to date maintenance) has
Try releasing the gas cap and screwing it back in. If the relief valve for the gas vapor canister is clogged, you can build up negative pressure in the gas cap causing difficulty getting fuel at low RPMs.If releasing the gas cap makes a difference, the fix may be simply making sure the canister orifice is cleared.
