Both codes have to do with fuel tank pressure/vacuum. I don't know what year this vehicle is but I would look at the fuel tank purge solenoid mounted on the engine, look for a picture of it on line to identify it and if the hose or hoses going to it are good, change it. With what you've provided, it could be any number of issues. Just guessing from the year and make it'll need a good tune up if you've never done one before. Start simple and and begin with replacing the plugs and wires...sometimes this can be the difference between night and day! And although some may say otherwise, depending on where you get your fuel you may want to change the fuel filter if the problem persists.

Sounds like your hood latch is worn out. When this happens the hood cable gets stretched out and will prevent the hood from opening. The best thing to do is where you pull the leaver to open the hood , disconnect the cable from the latch you pull and use a pair of pliers to pull it and it should pop right open.

Assuming no one has played with the wiring the next step is the starter itself, but do this first park it so you can see the headlights like against a garage door then turn the lights on and try to start if the lights dim and you may hear a click the starter is bad, if not move the shifter to neutral then try to start again if it starts the neutral safety switch is bad, ignition switches are a bit tougher to troubleshoot and require a test lite and DVOM. Check the keyfob battery replacement section in your owner's manual. It might be the original key but there is a little circuit in the keyfob that allows the car to recognise the keyfob as the owners fob. When the keyfob battery is changed it loses this recognition info and has to be re-registered with the car. This involves a set of actions, like a little ritual, to get the key and car to 'handshake'.
Every make and model have different 'handshake' rituals. If you don't have an owner's manual there's a good chance you'll be able to find your ritual on Google. Good luck.

it's a pain... you have to go through the wheel well by removing the screws from the inner skirt and pulling it back enough to get your hand in there. i have big hands, so the passenger side was near impossible to get in there far enough since the washer fluid tank runs down there. I could only reach it with 2 fingers and you have to twist it out. next time mine goes out, it's going back to the dealer.

There is a kit that will have everything you need minus tools. But basically you wire the trailer wiring into the existing car wiring.

This is just my opinion, but if it's not a huge hole, I don't think you absolutely have to repair it. To answer your question, I highly doubt that it could be welded, but I could be wrong about that. If you feel that it must be repaired, try a good 2-part epoxy, like J-B Weld. I've used that stuff on many things that didn't seem "fixable", and it hasn't failed me yet..... so far

If they are equal (eg low side 90 high side 90) compressor not running or bad. If compressor running try evacuate and recharge to proper charge levels. If still not right (eg 35 low 225 high) compressor bad.

Take the neg batt cable off put test light between batt n term pul fuses till light goes out then u found the circuit problem now u must find wut in that circuit

I'm trying to locate the #1 cylinder for the 2008 Ford Escape V6, I scan the vehicle and I got a code p2270 bank 1 sensor 2 on the fire wall side I replace the downstream sensor after the catalytic converter and it still gives me the same code. please let me know what I did wrong.
