Resistor in heater is burned out or loose. Could be heater switch.

check internet for location but sounds like the( thermistor) cheap part easy fix ..remember friends escape had same problem

your vehicle sounds like in limp mode [the vehicle sounds like its in limp mode [ this allows you to limp the vehicle safely off the road or to a service station ] their are multi reasons that would cause this from low oil pressure , bad emissions sensor to internal engine malfunction .its a 2010 should still be under warranty if not need to have vehicle scanned for trouble code that will give you a start point

Probably you have fuse blown. To confirm about please check either in the engine compartment or under the dashboard mostly on the driver's side leg towards his door,there is a black plastic box writing on " FUSES " .Removing the cover you see at the back of the cover either writing or some times with image the position of each unit controlled by the fuse or the relay. Remove it and check it if is okay or not then replace it with the same capacity fuse .
