2006 Fiat Grande Punto Questions & Answers
Fiat grande punto gear box problem
I found this on Honest Johns website:
One of the gearsets has slipped slightly down one of the rods. Requires dismantling of the gearbox to fix it, which is expensive, so try to live with it or offload the car.
(Personally, I think offloading a dodgy car is NOT an answer, unless you fess up at the time of sale!)
I would ask the dealer for an estimate, based on the above. Assuming it to be the case!
Which relay is for fiat grande punto 2006 front passenger electric window
Both front electric windows are fed from relay T40 in the fuse/relay box in the engine compartment therefore if one window works its not a relay problem. Check fuses F85 & F86 in same box and if OK could be a faulty window motor, faulty window switch, faulty wiring or a faulty body computer(unlikely)
Why is my Fiat bleeping from the inside?
Its an audible warning, is your door closing properly? seatbelt connecting in the latch correctly? handbrake correctly released?, also check the boot and bonnet is secure and latched. Check the dashboard do you have any warning symbols, low oil fuel etc or a service indicator or warning light usually an engine shape or a service due message will be on your dash.If you are not sure go to a garage.
What is wrong with tailgate wont open
Lock seized up requiring some grease or WD-40, latch broken or door lock solenoid module bad. You should grease all your door locks regularly with white lithium grease to prevent sticking locks and future problems.
Fiat Punto 2006... Front passenger electric window
take the door card off, have a visual of it winding up and down you may see or hear something strange ,oe better still take out the whole mechanism and try it with no load to help localise the fault. i hve similar problem with my window goes down easy but sticks in 2 places with a clicking sound , the fault being the plastic cog which houses the wire is worn out ,the motor is fine.
Heater not working where's the fuse??
fuse box:
If something quits in your car and you suspect a blown fuse, you can find it by pulling out each fuse one by one. Don't mix them up, replace each one as you go, across the top or down the sides, make sure to look at each one. You may even find you have more than one bown fuse! Don't worry about your intended location, checking them all this way will take less than a minute of time. If you have some needle-nose plyers, they work very well, most times you can use your fingers. Here are a few pictures if your unfamiliar with what your looking for:
