Can you please post a picture. I don't really understand what the problem is that you have without seeing it.

You have a cvt transmission in it. First check the fluid. It takes special fluid. Don't use regular transmission fluid in it. If it is full, have the codes read. It could be the TCM, a chip in the transmission, or clutches are worn out.
