problem can be a bad ,damaged or loose connection on sensor ----short or corroded wiring or ground under seat or faulty air bag

electric motor power steering , rubbish , you may be lucky and get the OBD codes read and cleared and may reset the motor or could be a faulty relay but be prepared for a hefty bill for a new motor

You can get guide from many sites.. i know few like reliable-store error codes/ fault codes, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, torque specs, engine info, switches functioning, assemble, disassembly, complete refurbish, repair, installation every single thing is covered within seconds u can get the access and it's totally illustrative complete

Simple answer is Yes, It will need to be programmed to you specific vehicle so it knows details like what version of the engine is fitted, Which transmission is fitted and whether it is a manual or an automatic. It will also need to be programmed so your current ignition keys will be recognised and allow you to start the vehicle. Unfortunately this might be a Dealership Only job so it's likely going to be expensive. Contact 4 or 5 mobile Auto Electricians and get their advice. One of them might be able to do it for you at a lower cost.
