Water in oil 2013 Chrysler 200

The most common reason for oil and water mixing is a blown head gasket. This can also cause a low coolant level that can affect the heaters on the vehicle. It could also be worth checking the coolant thermostat as that is also a common reason for overheating.

How to change motor mount drivers side of 04 Chrysler PT Crusier

To change the motor mount driver's side of a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Raise the vehicle: Use a jack to raise the vehicle off the ground and support it with jack stands. Make sure the vehicle is securely supported before proceeding.
  2. Locate the motor mount: The motor mount is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, between the engine and the frame of the vehicle.
  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable: This will help prevent any electrical issues while working on the vehicle.
  4. Remove the engine mount bolts: The motor mount is held in place by bolts that attach it to the engine and the frame. Using a socket wrench, remove these bolts.
  5. Remove the old motor mount: With the bolts removed, the old motor mount should come loose. Carefully lift it out of the engine compartment.
  6. Install the new motor mount: Place the new motor mount in position and align the bolt holes. Insert the bolts and tighten them to the manufacturer's specified torque.
  7. Reinstall the battery cable: Reconnect the negative battery cable and test the engine mount for proper operation.
  8. Lower the vehicle: Carefully lower the vehicle to the ground and test drive the vehicle to ensure everything is working correctly.
It's important to keep in mind that this is a general guide and the steps may vary depending on the specific model and year of your vehicle. It's best to consult the vehicle's service manual or seek the help of a professional technician. It's also important to use the right tools and safety equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses, and jack stands. Also, it's important to note that changing a motor mount can be a difficult task and it's best to have a professional technician perform the repair.

2013 Chrysler 200 my passenger side seat belt is stuck around the head rest.

If the passenger side seat belt in your 2013 Chrysler 200 is stuck around the headrest, it could be due to a variety of issues. Here are a few things you may want to try:
  1. Check the seat belt retractor: The seat belt retractor is responsible for pulling the seat belt back into the housing when it is not in use. If the retractor is faulty or stuck, it could cause the seat belt to become stuck. You may be able to fix the problem by gently pulling on the seat belt to try and free the retractor.
  2. Check for debris: There may be debris or a foreign object stuck in the seat belt mechanism, causing it to become stuck. Carefully inspect the area around the seat belt and try to remove any debris that you find.
  3. Check the seat belt latch: The seat belt latch may be faulty or stuck, causing the seat belt to become stuck. You'll want to check the latch for any visible damage or problems and try to release it.
If you are unable to fix the problem, I recommend having a qualified mechanic diagnose and fix the issue for you. Seat belts are an important safety feature and it's important to ensure that they are functioning properly.

2018 Chrysler 300S - My radio shut off and came back on while driving. What is causing this?

Could be a loose connection or it's grounding out. The driving causes your vehicle to move obviously. It could be your alternator or battery not charging or going out. Go to autozone or o'Riley's they can check both alternator and battery FREE. They say start with the simple stuff fist in this case I'd say start with the free stuff your just eliminating a couple of causes quickly easy and free. I'm assuming your radio is aftermarket or you put it in yourself if neither then more likely the alt/battery. we tend to make simple mistakes when doing our own projects. Does your battery light turn on when driving? Double check grounds and connections at wiring harness for radio . Good luck

Where do I check the fuel pressure with fuel pressure gauge on 2004 Chrysler Pacifica w/3.5L?

To check the fuel pressure on a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica with a 3.5L engine, you will need to locate the fuel pressure test port. This is a small, threaded port that is usually located on the fuel rail. The fuel rail is a metal tube that runs along the top of the engine and supplies fuel to the fuel injectors. To check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge, follow these steps:
  1. Locate the fuel pressure test port on the fuel rail. It should be a small, circular port with threads on the inside.
  2. Attach the fuel pressure gauge to the test port. The gauge will have a hose with a fitting on the end that screws into the test port.
  3. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position but do not start the engine.
  4. Observe the fuel pressure gauge. The needle should move to indicate the fuel pressure.
  5. Compare the fuel pressure reading to the manufacturer's recommended fuel pressure specification for your engine. This information can usually be found in the owner's manual or by contacting the manufacturer.

I have 2005 Chrysler Crossfire when I try starting it it turns over but doesn't start and the anti-theft alarm won't go off as well.

I think you have the GM PassLock system? Having a new key or disconnecting the battery disconnects the links between the key and the ECM. This explains how it works, to give you the background for fixing it. https://www.fixya.com/cars/r29887709-gm_passlock_security_system To reprogram PASSLock I ignition lock: Step 1. After replacing the lock, try to start the vehicle with a correctly cut key. There is a one in 10 chance that the car will start. Step 2. If the new lock does not match the electronic value in the vehicle's computer, an indicator light on the instrument panel will begin flashing and the car will be disabled. Step 3. Leave ignition in the ON or RUN position. Step 4. After approximately 10 minutes, the light will stop flashing and remain ON. The onboard computer has then been programmed to accept the new lock's signal. The car can be started. If the indicator light turns off, the vehicle is probably equipped with a PASSLock II system. Continue with the following programming procedure. To reprogram PASSLock II ignition lock: Step 1. After replacing the lock, try to start the vehicle with a correctly cut key. There is a one-in-10 chance that the car will start. Step 2. If the new lock does not match the electronic value in the vehicle's computer, an indicator light on the instrument panel will begin flashing and the car will be disabled. Step 3. Leave ignition in the ON or RUN position. Step 4. After approximately 10 minutes, the light will stop flashing and turn OFF. Step 5. Turn the ignition on and back to the ON or RUN position. Step 6. After approximately 10 minutes, the light will stop flashing and turn OFF. Step 7. Turn the ignition on and back to the ON or RUN position. Step 8. After approximately 10 minutes, the light will stop flashing and remain ON. The onboard computer has then been programmed to accept the new lock's signal. The vehicle can now be started. Occasionally, a PASSLock-equipped vehicle will have problems starting. The following information can help to determine the cause of the problem. The PASSLock system does not disable the starter; it only disables the fuel after the engine has started. If the vehicle will not crank, PASSLock cannot cause this condition. If the vehicle starts, but stalls quickly, this condition can possibly be related to PASSLock. Most PASSLock-equipped vehicles have a telltale indicator in the instrument panel. When a PASSLock-equipped vehicle is being started, the instrument panel warning light for PASSLock remains on until the engine starts. For this reason a "No Start" condition should not be confused with PASSLock System fault. ..

2001 Chrysler Concorde won't start. Full tank of gas, turns over just won't start

Fuel pump: The fuel pump is responsible for delivering fuel from the gas tank to the engine. If the fuel pump is not functioning properly, the engine will not receive the fuel it needs to start.
Fuel filter: The fuel filter is responsible for removing impurities from the fuel as it flows from the tank to the engine. If the fuel filter is clogged, the engine may not receive enough fuel to start.
Ignition system: The ignition system is responsible for generating a spark that ignites the fuel in the engine. If there is a problem with the ignition system, the engine may not start.
Battery: If the battery is weak or dead, it will not be able to provide the necessary power to start the engine.
To diagnose the issue, you may want to try the following steps:
Check the fuel pump: You can check the fuel pump by listening for a humming sound when you turn the ignition key to the "on" position. If you don't hear a humming sound, the fuel pump may be the issue.
Check the fuel filter: You can check the fuel filter by removing it and inspecting it for any clogs or blockages.
Check the ignition system: You can check the ignition system by checking the spark plugs and ignition cables for any visible signs of damage.
Check the battery: You can check the battery by using a multimeter to test the voltage. If the voltage is low, the battery may be the issue.
If you are unable to diagnose the issue, it may be best to seek the help of a professional mechanic.
