Reduced engine power, service traction control, service stabilitrak

First of all a scan tool is need for this not a code reader, you need to view scan data after you find what code is stored in the PCM. It could have a problem with the powertrain control module, wiring, or the Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensors. Here are a few codes that could set . DTC P2120: Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 1 Circuit DTC P2122: Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 1 Circuit Low Voltage DTC P2123: Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 1 Circuit High Voltage DTC P2125: Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 2 Circuit DTC P2127: Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 2 Circuit Low Voltage DTC P2128: Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 2 Circuit High Voltage DTC P2138: Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 1-2 Correlation

How to check oxygen sensors 08 Tahoe?

Is the check engine light on ? How many miles are on the vehicle ? Have you ever changed the fuel filter ? The best way to check the O2 Sensors is with a scan tool ,but can be done with a ( DVOM ) digital volt, ohm meter . look on your tube , they have a number of O2 sensor testing videos . A misfire will feel almost the same , plugs and wires ! This system is very complex and if your not a trained Tech , I'd leave this to the pros !

How to fix my 2001 Chevy Tahoe tow/haul keeps coming on when not pushed. If I leave it unattended will it cause my transmission problems cause I just had to replace it

Tow/haul mode enables the operator to achieve enhanced shift performance when towing or hauling a load. When tow/haul mode is selected, the tow/haul switch input signal to the body control module (BCM) is momentarily toggled to zero volts. This signals the powertrain control module (PCM) to extend the length of time between upshifts and increase transmission line pressure. Cycling the tow/haul switch again disables tow/haul mode and returns the transmission to a normal shift pattern. Would't trust it , take an have DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes checked by a qualified repair shop with a factory or professional scan tool . Auto part stores can not check BCM code's . DTC B2722 Tow/Haul Switch/Indicator Always On or Inoperative Step Action Value(s) Yes No 1 Install a Scan Tool . Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. Cycle the tow/haul switch while observing Tow/Haul Mode on the Scan Tool . Does the Scan Tool display Active when the switch is first pressed, and then Inactive when the switch is pressed again? -- Go to Intermittent Conditions in Engine Controls - 4.3 L or Intermittent Conditions in Engine Controls - 4.8 L, 5.3 L and 6.0 L Go to Step 2

2020 Chevy Tahoe Z71. Do I need to replace my airbag module?

Question edited for clarity, 'year make model' first. This is one job, I would not do myself. The airbags are extremely dangerous if they go off, even if just reconnecting the battery. I would replace the impact sensors. Not sure if they are resettable, but I would replace anyway. Often, having the sensors reset and recalibrated is adequate. However, when the airbag does deploy, there's more to do than just replace the airbag. May 4, 2017

Will a 1990 chevy 1500

yes it will as long as it is the same model transmission. As long as you get a transmission out of a standard cab truck you should be ok. ( for a good idea Most 88-98 gm trucks, full size blazers, jimmys, tahoes, and yukons will interchange) same chassis just different bodys and emblems

Temperature knobs won't change temperature Chevy Tahoe

You likely have a HVAC control head failure. The rear heater problem is likely a door actuator, the rear wiper is likely a open wire in the door jamb in the top. The gauges are likely a cluster failure.

Where is the anti theft located in a Chevy 2002 Tahoe 2500 does any one know???

Anti-theft system is software programmed into the vehicle modules (computers) PCM/ECM - engine computer , BCM - body control module. Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop. Passlock™ System The theft deterrent system has been incorporated into the body control module (BCM). The theft deterrent is provided in order to prevent the vehicle operation if the correct key is not used in order to start the vehicle. The ignition key turns the lock cylinder. The cylinder rotation produces an analog voltage code in the Passlock™ sensor. This voltage code is received by the BCM. The BCM compares the voltage code to the previously learned voltage code. If the codes match, a class 2 message is sent from the BCM to the powertrain control module (PCM)/vehicle control module (VCM). The message enables the fuel injectors. The design of the Passlock™ system is to prevent vehicle theft by disabling the engine unless the ignition lock cylinder rotates properly by engaging the correct ignition key. The system is similar in concept to the PASS-Key® system. However, the Passlock™ system eliminates the need for a key mounted resistor pellet. The components of the Passlock™ system are as follows: • The ignition lock cylinder • The ignition switch • The Passlock™ sensor • The Body control module (BCM) • The security telltale • The vehicle/powertrain control module (VCM/PCM)

Have a u1041 loose of ebcm ebtcm communication code on 2001 cherolet tahoe

A U1041 code means that communications with the electronic brake control module are lost, and this may have happened because: • Electronic Brake Control Module harness is open or shorted • Faulty Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) • Electronic Brake Control Module circuit poor electrical connection To fix the issue, inspect the issues mentioned above and check that all the wirings and connectors are intact-nothing should be broken or corroded.
