Usually the BCM in cases of draining battery. One of the functions routed through it may have an issue. A diagnosing auto electrician should be able to help, but you will need a good one. Check for recommendations

What is a torque lock? Do you mean a Locked Torque converter in the transmission? Reading the stored computer trouble codes will tell you if the overdrive is failing. Go to AutoZOne or some such place and have the diagnostic scan to see what codes are set. You CAN unplug the lock-up torque converter solenoid. I have on a Buick but cannot guarantee this will create more problems BUT it worked for me...

Sounds like a possible bad ground connection. Make sure the contacts for the bulb are clean. Make sure the cround connection is not corroded.

Is it possible that the unit has gone bad? If so it will lock up or be sticking and not turning like it should. Check the fluid to see if it has gotten thick. Sign of it getting hot because pump has gone bad. Other than tightening all the belts I do not know anything else. Hope this helps.
