How TO bleed coolant system on 2006 equinox lt

Fill the coolant to hot full. start it and get it to operating temperature, watch the tank because when the T stat opens the coolant tank will drop. Fill it hot full again, maybe just an inch or so over full. put the cap on. What I do is find a parking lot and drive around in circles( as fast as you can, 15 MPH is what I try to hit), left , then right. Doing this purges the air out of the heater core. It has worked on every car I have done. Even the impossible Ford taurus's

Can't pas inspection, computer won't reset.

Disconnect battery for a few minutes then reconnect. If the system didn't reset you may need to leave the battery disconnected longer even overnight.

What could be wrong with cruise control?

The light means the system is powered so the fuse is probably OK. I am not sure about this particular car but there is usually some measure of self test involved as well so it makes me think there may be a mechanical problem. Many systems use a vacuum device to actually adjust the throttle so a loss of vacuum such as a cracked line or a hole in the actuator could be the problem. On my Dodge truck the actuator lives beneath the battery so they frequently corrode a hole and no longer work. One last possibility is the linkage from the actuator to the throttle could be broken or jammed. Good luck!

HOW DO I PREVENT AND GET RID OF CONDENSATION IN HADLIGHT ASSY

Condensation in a headlight assembly usually means a crack or split in the assembly somewhere.Remove the assembly and use a hair dryer to dry it out. Go along to an auto supply store and get some "seam seal" (not silicone) and a silicone based lubricant.Spread the seam seal around the join in the headlight assembly and let it dry up.This is usually overnight.Take the silicone lubricant and apply it to the rubber gasket around each light bulb.DO NOT get the lubricant on the bulbs. Replace the bulbs in the assembly. This should solve your problem. Good luck

Loud fan noise, continues when car is turned off

You may have a bad fan and a bad fan relay or a bad coolant sensor. If the fan shuts after a certain period of time the coolant sensor is working. If the fan is extremely loud and grinding, replace the fan.

Double check that all fuses are still good and in the right locations. Sometimes they will pop when you install them right after you saw that they were still good. Let me know what you find.
