My 2008 Buick Lucerne Super

Hello rbs, It sounds like maybe the drain plumbing has come apart, has a hole in it or leaking at the connector...GM made them in sections.
You can undo the lower portion of the inner fender wheelwell and remove all the dirt and debris from there.... that is what causes the blockage to begin.
Then use an air compressor in the drain hole to blow the rest out. If that don't help...Check to see if the drain tube has disconnected from the drain hole in the sunroof, or perhaps not connected after repairs were made---You can access it it by removing the A and B pillars and drivers side shade in order to pull the headliner down enough to get to it...

Here is link for that shows these GM roof drains.. It's not for your exact model, but is similar.
I hope this helps, good luck.

The starter is where the engine joins the gearbox, usually on the engine side. Check that he wiring it connected at the starter and the ingnition switch. Make sure the battery terminals are good and clean and tight. Otherwise the starter solinoid may be faulty, or the starter itself.

Shifter on floor of my

have another shop look at it, it should not be this expensive unless there is major damage to the shifter assembly. usually just the park lock solenoid is bad thats not very expensive. let us know how it goes. you might be able to pop loose the metal rod from this small black solenoid under the shifter yourself, but then it will defeat the safety features of the shifter. getting off the console to get to it might be more work than you want to do though.
