Bmw marks timing 7.8l

7.8L is the marking on the windshield wiper fluid reservoir and had nothing to do with the engine. With this level of competence, please do not attempt to replace the timing chain. (they're aren't any timing marks, btw)

How to change oil pan on 2001 x5 bmw 3.0

remove the reinforcement plate under the engine. 4 x 17mm nuts. You will need to hold the back side of each bolt with a box end wrench or it will just spin. Then you will see the oil pan. Remove the 10mm nuts and the pan will come off. . (Drain the oil first!). When you replace the reinforcement plate, use new bolts. They are one-time use. (Really).

HOW DO I FIND THE LOCATION OF THE 2001 BMW X5 3.O emergency fuel door release?

Open the boot and to the right hand side of the boot you will see a green round button pull on it and it will pull the locking actuator back allowing you to open the fuel flap, if you can't see the green button then it may have dropped behind the boot cover and you will need to pull the cover back to get to the green pull button.

Air blend door actuator

These doors/flaps are vacuum actuated and apparently only the one has no vacuum to it to actuate it, meaning that one has a vacuum line disconnected from the actuator. Just find the loose vacuum line and put it back on. It will then close with the others and done. Otherwise, for now, just stuff a towel in the one opening where the heat is coming out. That's a temporary fix but will work till you can get to the real fix.

Audio, cruise controls and horn doesnt work on the steering wheel but air bag light hasnt come on...anyone know what the problem could be? I replaced the horn and fuse.

Sounds like something happened to the wiring harness in the column. The air bag circuit is in a different harness.
