Extractor tank keep busting

Epoxy is a great tool, but rarely works on the cooling system (I assume you mean the over flow tank. your best bet is to replace the part The chemical makeup of Coolant, combined with heat and pressure makes the plastic around the epoxy very brittle and tends to continue to cause cracks and eventually will just crumble. There are "plastic welders" on the market that I have had some success with in the past, but alot of times it becomes a band aid. Depending on the year and make of the car you may be able to get a used part from a junk yard or online market

My BMW 318 air con fanbelt has broken is this an urgent problem or can I take time in replacing it.

Are you sure that the belt only turns the AC compressor? Be sure that it's not also connected to the fan and the power steering pump. If it's only turning the air conditioning compressor then you can live with it for as long as you can live without air conditioning.
