You will need a new light control module and have it coded by the dealer. The LCM contains information tied to the VIN and the number of miles driven. If you just replace the module you will get a tamper light (dot) displayed on your odometer. If you rapair or have it repaired it, you do not need to recode it. There are several places that will repir them. Do not try to swap out with another used one.
Check on the "bimmerforum.com" or any of the other BMW forums and you will find information. There is also a youtube on repairing the LCM ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn3BLoQUJ2I )
Here are two possible solutions:
first it could be the highbeam switch located on the steering column. Secondly it could be the light control module (LCM) which is typically located on the right wall passenger below the glove compartment.
I had to replace my LCM with a new one from eBay and then it had to be reprogrammed by the dealer ( one hour labor).
not sure which one it IS. I bought the Bentley service manual on eBay which has helped a lot... Along with YouTube how to videos you should be able to figure it out - everything is there! Also check the BMW forums - bimmerfest, bimmerforums, bimmerpost, etc
Look up

Its come off the connecting linkage or the motor drive is disconnected. Can you hear the motor operating but no movement?
The window sliding and the motor running means; Off with the door trim and all will be revealed.
First, find the sensor. Bottom passenger side of radiator I believe. If you're lazy, just change the sensor and make sure the connector is good and tight. If not, do resistance checks on the disconnected sensor and voltage on the connected sensor, both cold and hot. The results will tell you the problem.
If the connector is loose or broken, you can get one with pigtails at your local auto parts store. Chop the old one off, splice the new one in, close up surgery, and connect.
Hi, needs way more detiles than that, and could be millions of reasons, dos any of your warning lights on panel coms on??? Going on just that and they both not working, check the fuses and relays if possible, you can find the numbers and position of them in the manual, but usialy there is 2 or some times 3 positions that could be situated: 1. Enjine bay. 2. Inside the car(usialy in the front by steering colomb) & 3. In the boot (rite hand side). Also can check 4 came off connections in the enjine bay, if visible and check HCV unit enjine bay firewall passenger side. Good luck, hope any of that will help, but defenatly needs more details and furder investigations...
P0302 - misfire on #2 cylinder . Could be a bad spark plug , spark plug wire , or a bad ingintion coil , a bad fuel injector etc.... There are videos on youtube that could help you sort this out .
Check the air outlet temperatures at the vents. If they are very low, your cabin air filter might be plugged/dirty. Has any work been done on the compressor lately? dirt in the system can cause the expansion valve to malfunction.
