You my son are going to be spending loads of cash. Your auto box has probably several problems and to continue to try and use it like this is akin to throwing money out of the window. You need an auto box specialist and about 1500 euros

could just be a flat battery but as is an automatic there may be an issue with the autobox staring sensor, have the OBD codes read by a mechanic this will pinpoint the sensor/switch at fault will save you time and money in the long run as will not be searching blind

It will either be a faulty coil or igniter, Some of this model have the coil on the suspension tower with leads running to the motor and some have the coil pack fitted into the top of the motor,.

It is drops below 11 volts, nothing works the way It should, including removing the key on a vehicle that is an automatic. You have the symptoms of a car alarm and immobilizer stopping it starting. After disconnecting the battery, it definitely need resetting. You need a mobile auto locksmith you cut you a new key and program both keys to make it start. People always think they only need one key because they are careful and won't lose it. check relay and wiring for short

I am not sure what you mean when you say you blocked it off. You must have the water so it will circulate through the system and that means you need to splice the heater hoses together so the water will return to the radiator and through the motor. You could have a heater hose that is separated inside and not show. Did you check the thermostat to make sure it is operating. It sounds as if it is shut and needs replacement.

make sure you have fuel. bmw cars are notorious for fuel gauge error. Try your spare key, maybe immo problem. if you detect having low battery dont keep on trying and install new battery or charge battery first or you loose dme to ews cyncronization and you have to get it programmed to get it started
