What causes high idling and idle surges
That is most commonly caused by a vacuum leak, but can also be caused by a cam or crank sensor, throttle position sensor, map or maf sensor,
if you have a check engine light on, that most likely will tell you your problem, if not, check all your vacuum hoses, brake booster, and egr valve, they are the most common places to find vacuum leaks

I have a 1993 BMW 325i that turns over very strong but will not start?
Hello Edward:
The two magic ingredients are spark at the plugs and fuel in the jugs. Pull a plug...... if it is wet there is no spark, if it is dry, there will be no fuel. There can be a lot of reasons for either problem, so let's try to figure out which one we're dealing with first. Cheerfuls!

Bmw speedometer
Sounds like a bad or lose fuse. Take a look in the fuse panel and look for a loose fuse or blown fuse.

2002 325 BMW remove back Panel to Replace Speaker
Here's what to do:
1. Use the pry tool to carefully pop up the window switch assembly from the door panel. Then, disconnect the wiring harness from the switch assembly.
2. Take out the two Phillips-head screws located under the armrest.
3. Use your pry tool to gently unclip the door panel from the door. Start at the bottom and work your way around the sides, being careful not to break the clips that hold the panel in place.
4. Lift the whole panel up to free it from the window sill.
5. Disconnect the wiring harnesses on the backside of the door panel by pressing the tabs and pulling the connectors apart.
6. Once the panel is off, you'll be able to see the speaker, which is held in place by screws. Take off these screws to free the speaker.
7. Disconnect the wiring harness from the speaker.
8. Connect the new speaker to the wiring harness and screw it into place. Then, put the door panel back on by reversing the steps above.

How did you test the battery? The fact that you jumped it and drove home with no problem tells you the battery is the problem.
