How to set Theft Deterrent System in my Toyota Avensis 1.6 110hp 2007?
It does it automaticly after car is locked ,so many seconds and the immobilisor is armed ,unless you have one of them weekend boy racer gizmos ,if you have then heaven help you when it packs up which it will ,what they called in america a viper or something .put the car in the garage and you will not have any problems and never leave anything in the car ,clear the junk out the garage first though its a garage for the car not a pool room or store room neither a granny annex .

Toyota avensis indicator
When this started happening your first thing to do is to check ALL ground connections. You will find possibly 2 under the dash. A white wire connected to a wire end with an eye and a bolt holding it to the firewall. Should be one on each side. Always check the grounds FIRST above all else. Make sure they are clean and tight. New shop mechanics will not check this, they just keep charging more and more, checking EVERYTHING else BUT the ground connections. I'm old school and do things right, the first time. Everything else being good, the power is feeding back through the fuse and causing a spike and blowing the fuse. If all grounds are good after your done cleaning and tightening and tried it out for a while, you may have to go as far as pulling the signalstat unit from the columb and checking that connection last. Only happening in hot weather may just be a happenstance. That would make no difference. Unless of course when it happens, the AC is on and pulling power when you use the signals. Use the signals when AC on and if pops the fuse, it's the ground connection at the AC unit. Have fun under the dash.

Toyota avensis parking brake unoperational
Check to see if the cable is seized. If it is free, then pull up on the brake handle 20 times to adjust the brakes. If that doesnt work then look at the brakes linnings.
