How to reprogram 2007 chevy malibu remot
Transmitter Programming
Important:All transmitters which are to be recognized by the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) must be programmed in a single programming sequence. If the system is placed in program mode it will erase all previously programmed transmitters upon the receipt of the programming signal from the first transmitter. Up to 4 transmitters can be programmed. Do not operate or program the transmitters in the vicinity of other vehicles that are in the keyless entry program mode. This prevents the programming of the transmitters to the incorrect vehicle.
1. Install a scan tool.
2. Use the scan tool in order to access programming: Vehicle Control System/Computer Integrating System/Module Setup/BCM/Program Key Fobs.
3. Press the START soft key on the scan tool.
Important:The scan tool must stay connected until all of the transmitters are programmed.
4. Press and hold the LOCK button and the UNLOCK button simultaneously on one transmitter. After a delay of 5-10 seconds, the scan tool will indicate that the transmitter is programmed.
5. Repeat the previous step in order to program up to 4 transmitters.
6. Remove the scan tool.
7. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.
Torque specifications for 1998 Chevy Malibu 3.1 L engine. Cylinder heads.
Cylinder Head Bolt Torque Specification for the GM 3.1L and 3.4L Engines is as follows:
Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 44 ft.lbs (60 N-m) in the order to seat gasket.
Tighten an additional 95 degrees.
Then make a second pass tightening all the bolts an
additional 95°.
Remember, 95° is just a little more than a 1/4 turn, not 1/2 turn, or from 12 o’clock to 3 o’clock on the dial. Do not tighten beyond this.
2004 Malibu 2.2l base model, after using my manual button option on the automatic gear shifter my shifter is moving from park to L without key in the ignition not in run position or break not pressed. I took my middle console out and took pictures also my shifters release button is loose until it's in L that's when I can feel normal tension in the button.

If you mean the serpentine belt is squeaking?... it likely needs replaced. That said...
While engine OFF, apply a small dab (think water drop size) or two of silicone grease across the belt ridges.
If anti freeze from surge tank is getting on belt, find cause and fix before replacing belt.
Went through 2 belts (warranty part but my labor) on a older malibu before figuring out leak in surge tank.
Silicone grease (not lithium or mineral base) was only thing that would keep it quiet for a few weeks... but si grease is not a solution. The root cause needs determined and adressed.
AND Of course, chev turned a 1 minute belt change into a 1/2 hr job w/ engine lift.
How to fix 2015 malibu shifter interlock issues after spilling pop on console area
If you need the car now and don't have time to pull the console apart, there is a small access hole along side of the shift lever. Stick a THIN screwdriver or some other small shafted object in the hole and it will release the safety catch so that you can shift the car out of park.
However you will eventually have to change the safety switch, but this will get you going temporarily.
