2012 Kia wheel unlocked and ignition won't turn car is in park on tow dolly
Rick, this is just something for you to try. With foot on the brake turn steering wheel back and forth while trying to turn ignition. You may have something damaged in the ignition, have a good Tech diagnose and estimate repair.

Not starting. brake pad cannot be pressed
oes your vehicle have to have the brake pedal pressed to allow the engine to start? That's a safety interlock.
If your brakes are not working and you have no brake pressure that would be the reason that the safety switch is not allowing you to start the engine.
So..........
You'll need to repair the brakes.
Front brake is worn not yet replaced. but checked once. vehicle has not been started for two weeks. now I cannot start the vehicle. what should I do.
Hi Dissa:
The brake and not starting are two separate issues.
For the engine to start there has to be fuel in the cylinders, and spark at the plugs (unless it is a diesel)
If the engine is not turning over then power is not getting to the starter. So, either the battery, terminals, connections, wires, or solenoid are not functioning.
Spark can be checked bu pulling a plug lead and holding it next to the block while someone tries to start the engine. It should be "hot" and blue.
If you have spark then the problem will be with fuel delivery.
After you've isolated the problem reply as a COMMENT to this post and I'll try to assist.
Cheers.
