I would test the relay to make sure it is still good and everything there is working like it is supposed to. I would also look at the switch and make sure noting came unplugged and it is still in good working order sometimes new parts are still bad.

May very well be the pump needs to have resistance to activate the relay.

A blown head gasket around $1500. A cracked head around $3500.

Get new handle and clip, use small screw driver to lift metal lever through plastic trim and install release lever
