Turn off the service airbag light 2006 volvo s40.

The SRS light is an item that must be reset by the dealer. Usually, there is a fault in the system that makes the light come on. Caution: Whenever this light is lit, the SRS is disabled. Consequently, the airbags will not deploy during an accident. Have the system checked out as there will be a code the system has stored in relation to the airbags, the crash sensor or something else. Be safe: Never work on the system with the battery connected, regardless of whether or not that light is lit!

Or a poor contact is making the wire act like an element instead of a conductor.

MAF Sensor Screws

Bosch MAF sensor? The two screws that hold the sensor in to the tube? These screws, if missing, will not allow unmetered air into the engine, so will not be the reason your light is coming on. What is making you think your light coming on has something to do with your missing screw? Do you have a fault code, or codes? If so, what do you have?
