I hope you can get a better answer than this, but here is what I know. Often a noise maker is what used to be called the "throw-out bearing". Today they are also called a "clutch release bearing". As far as the rest of the symptoms, look carefully look at the master cylinder and the slave cylinder, which work the clutch. Any or all of those 3 items really should be the culprit here. That an electrical short. The fan relay or the fan switch sounds like the troublemaker. when the ignition is off, the fan shut down.The relay is an "on & off" switch for the fan.If the relay is "sticking" in the on position, the fan will continue to run until the battery dies. Same scenario if your Polo is equipped w/ a fan switch. If the switch is stuck on, the fan runs. There's the short. get someone u trust to ck that out. Good Luck, happens all the time.

You are low on refrigerant. It's best to figure out where it leaked from, but you can try the do-it-yourself sealant if you are comfortable troubleshooting. Keep in mind the proper/best way, is to bring it to a shop that has the ability to capture the refrigerant from the system.

hi.it can be a cooil pack thats faulty or a cylinder that has droped a valve.there is a way of testing witch cylinder is misfiring while veh is ideling you need to pull out your coils one by one and push it back at if you unplug a coil at one of the cylinders and your engine operation does not really change you know that cylinder is dead or not operating correctly start by doing a compression test if thats ok change spark plug if still a problem move to coil then injectors.hope this helps

Some service indicators can be reset and some owners handbooks give instructions for doing so. Some indicators can only be reset using dedicated diagnostic equipment. VW use both types depending on whether the vehicle is programmed for normal service intervals or longlife intervals. I suggest you seek advice from your local dealer.
