The passenger window in my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer came off its track. How do I place it back on the track?
This is most likely not the track, The window system uses pulleys and cables and the pulleys are plastic and the cable comes off. They are tough to work on. You have to remove the interior door panel. That means getting a door panel tool. Take the screws out that you can see on the arm rests and the trim. Use the door panel tool to locate the plastic panel retainers. They are spaced out on the edges of the door panel. Use the puller to remove them. When the interior panel if removed you can see a plastic sheet that covers the inside mechanics. Remove the sheet and you can see the window parts through the holes in the door. You can then remove the window cranking system. You probably are going to end up replacing the part.
