usa car? no job stated no problem or symptoms stated. does car drive ok, all other features on car work ok? that be first thing a shop guy would do, for sure. learn that jeep is replacing some cave man fuses,with automatic, electronic(magic) current limiters, we've used these in industry for 45 years, car makers are just catching up to this method. its not fully deployed yet. and never will, but. is on many low current circuits, (end class) ( this car is not a 1993 jeep, not at all) easter egg hunt 1000. KK jeep 2011. (2008 major changes) did you lose the operators guide, it covers fuses, present. did you look at all the names on the box, lid? see no turns, there. i have no kk book so i will do the mitchells , log in and look for you (hint so can you) I see the car has SCAN codes DTC errors (lots) for blinkers turns. scan it yet? are all dead, all weak, stuck on, flash to fast or too slow note how I cant guess? your car like my car, has TIPM box, under hood. all boxes in one, and for sure the magic fuse, i told you about above. im looking in your TIPM box now, ITS NOT THERE. yes, for stop.park/backup but no TURN FUSE as I expected. for 2008+ so why not post full symptoms and not ask for things that do not exist. (yes it has current limiters, but not ATC fuse, here) ok, try that lets pretend , you said all blinkers (turns) are and asked how to diagnose this, you then said all other things work. car drives, etc. I then tell you scan it;. sorry cant fix cars with no scan tools, x10 that 2008 and up. scan it. get car serviced? buy ,rent,borrow , the tool. lets say you saw high error, 1 bulb is burned out. lets say got low error , just 1 one , it tells you here. "shorted bulb or wire " to ground. if non of this is clear, why ask? why not get car fixed,like 99.9% do , but not me.

Wow! That's not good! I would see if there has been a recall for this issue.
I had a similar issue 20 years ago with a Pontiac Grand Am. I had to put the oil filter on a lot tighter than I normally would. It was really hard to remove during the next oil change, but that was my only remedy for it. I had to check it every couple of weeks.
The only other thing that comes to mind is that maybe the threads are not in great shape. (Maybe an old oil filter was cross threaded at some point?) Or it could just be a faulty oil filter. Try a good name brand if you haven't already. Even if it is coming loose, DO NOT use any kind of adhesive or thread locker on it. It will not be able to be taken off with without a giant headache, and possibly damaging the vehicle.

Clock spring in the steering wheel would be my guess, I had the same thing happen in my 2009 Chrysler sending.

so what works and what not. so far we have cluster issues does car drive, ok day and night. and all accessories? did engine stall driving? did Head lights dim? on, driving? my guess is the engine stalled or idled below 300rpm and the ECU went to Key on self test mode, (they all do that) watch the RPM guage? see that needle, ? if it goes below 300 rpm that is engine stall. or worse This cars cluster is really just a digital display so if the PCM cant talk to the cluster, the cluster will go nuts. for freeze. We use a scan tool to see whats up. or use the cluster self test covered in the shop manual. the cluster has 2 fuses that can be cracked/loss or corroded. the cars battery can go weak. if the charge/battery light glows, engine RPM good then the alternator systems is failing if the volt meter (if opted) in cluster drops below 14v, and engine is still running, the same, alternator system failure or even a loose belt at the alternator. if the battery voltage drops too low , all electrics go nuts. and engine stalls. what dies first with low battery , is luck of the draw.... so what was battery voltage and engine RPM at the point of failure.??????????

means that you have a serious problem that has to be checked out asap check engine oil , transmission oil, coolant level at the radiator cap engine temperature , charge light Then if all is ok find the nearest service center / accredited service shop that specializes in your make of vehicle or autozone and have the fault codes read fix what ever shows up in the codes

lost the operators guide, ? it answers that.! all OBD2 cars from 1996 do that, not beep , the blink it means you are burning up your CAT converters. when the EFI system goes hey wire, (means lost control of fueling or spark) it goes rich, and rich burns up cats. the flashing means, get cars serviced NOW. so you dont need $1000 parts. here it is, if lost posted 100 + times. 100% free http://www.jeep.com/en/owners/manuals/ RTM it there. or get it serviced like the 99% do. or if 1% ,scan it next. the tool is cheap,

what is the problem? the alarm goes off , and is a pain?? ( or car will not start. they to post symptoms first and then ask a question so we can understand what you mean. the operators guide tell you clearly how to disable the alarm. on all jeeps. lost that. but not the IMMO, you cant that. here it is still free and posted over 300 times... http://www.jeep.com/en/owners/manuals/ rtm, see how to disable it. its there. mines dead now , day1, i shut it off, and it stays off.

jerking might be misfire! CEL glowing, or flash, clue 2 running if yes, the CAT has to eat tons of raw fuel .glows red hot and stinks, all do that like that. thus the warnings in your operators guide. CEL = check engine light in cluster, means get car serviced, now.

lost the operators guide already?

fuses are blown if the radio has 12vdc to all power pins, then it has power. if grounded too. if dead in all modes!now, the head is dead (AMP dead at least) im assuming at least 4 speakers and not all 4 can magically die one day. (never seen in 50 years of electronics that case) get a volt meter, and learn to use it? the meter is $10 at walfart. 12vdc is good. 0v is bad. the head and amp has a manual. most modern head the Red wire is radio power. so is the radio part dead. dial dead, cant scan FM,or AM. if totally dead radio side, no sign of ANY life. (not just sound) that is a bad fuse. if the radio is scanning, then the amp sides is dead. check the power to the amp side. is amp separate> you never said if its a all in one radio or 2 parts.

driving , or parked, engine on or off. (sure key on) please post full clear symptoms. post all the car does good and bad. parked, idling and driving. my guess is, you were driving, then looked at the cluster

1. and the fuel level dropped fast. (power loss 12vdc that is)
2. and the voltage gauge, dropped,(well it didnt lie , it did drop)
3. this means the battery charge is too low, and falling.
4. the battery is bad. or
5. the charge system( I never said to replace a part) is bad.
6. or the battery lugs are rusty. clean them.

battery is 12.6vdc rested, engine off battery volts running is 13.3 to 15vdc, , if not charge system is upset or battery so bad the charge system shuts down.

automatic transmission? mine a stick. and different. ok. does it crank in neutral as the operators guide states? not just park, neutral has fresher contacts, try them. clean battery lugs first. here is the list of tests, (not guessing !)

1. fuses all good,
2. battery charged? does jumper cables work now?
3. if jumper cables cranks engine then battery is bad or only discharged (for other reasons, ask)
4. if jumper fail, the starter or key line is dead.
5. we hot wire the starter next. if it cranks now starter is good.
6. if the hot wire fails, starter is bad(battery charged )
7. i the starter hot wires ok that key line is dead.
8. i then check the P/N park neutral switch next (ask)
9. or further up the line to the ign. switch.
10. (or use a scan tool) the newer cars can report more errors. not looking , here, you can miss the boat.

moving only get it serviced if true as finding noise moving , will be dangerous to you. we use a tool to find this. and hand 'Vis. inspections.
