Changed the Alternator and now screen only
you forgot to read the FSM
and step one was:
1:remove battery cable minus lug,
now you blew out that huge fuse in the main fuse box.
oops...a - daisy. the fuse saved you a bath in ACID. (or worse)_
Pumping gas
all islands?
all stations.
i bet not, but..... if above is true
then the filler side hole is blocked or kinked
or the tank is full and the fuel gauge lies. (i use a dip stick to check tank levels like air craft crews do...)
Will not start
that is a stall
get it tuned up, do the 60,000 mile service, and bingo.
try starting it Wide open throttle (oper guide tells it)
this can clear a flood.
Thermostat problems
your easy, that is caused by AIR Pocket in the engine block
the gauge can not read, air temps so if air is below the engine
coolant thermostat the ECT reads hot then air (cold ) repeats
you lost coolant and the number one reason for that is trusting
the silly side tank, (they fail easy)
never do that, on the next cold morning , dead cold
you take off the RAD cap. look down the neck, is it full of green
AF? id bet you its not.
the cab heater will never work with no engine heat, ever. so ......
never do the above on any hot engine.
also the thermostat might be bad and the coolant overheated
and blew out, so get a new STAT.
the flush the system, and refill with 50% AF.
or worse. lots of ways to overheat.... ask.
the side bottle only works, (called the expansion tank)
if never overheated
and the tube in side is not dropped off
and you never let it go dry, ever.
those facts and others are why we check the RAD directly cold.
Change thermostat
HOw to change,? Out. R&R the STAT
no year, no engine option size stated.
so will do the generic answer, ive done this 3 times, now. here.
1: open hood.
2: see RAD (radiator)?
3: see top hose?, (called the return hose on most cars)
4: follow it to the thermostat housing, bingo, OFF the housing.
put back new SATat, (id run the hottest version for best MPG)
with the wax side to the water jackets.
and put jiggle bleed pin, up hill , (varies by engine design)
use the correct gasket for your engine size and year.
varies greatly.
use anti seize lube on the bolts. use torque rating in book, minus 15%

Hello.ESP is Electronic Stability ProgramBAS is Brake Assist ControlThese systems allow the vehicle computer to prevent the tires from spinning and locking up. From your description, it sounds like these two systems are active but may be too sensitive. If it affects how you drive, you may want to have the dealership take a look at this and see if they can adjust this to be less sensitive.
