Timing belt

Your truck has a timing BELT that should be replaced every 60,000 or sooner and multiples of that going forward to prevent damage to the valves. Recommended Maintenance Schedules

Replace the actuator.

check /replace clutch cable or replace master cylinder. If the clutch has not been replaced it may need a clutch kit as the indications are that the pressure plate is weak ( worn clutch plate or from overheated clutch)

The small clip that wraps where the pin inserts, pop it off with a small screw driver

when replacing thermostats always replace it with an exact copy of the one being discarded. If you are referring to the little bit in the hole of the body of the thermostat ,that is there to keep the hole clear so that rust and gunk do not block the (bleed ) hole and so cause overheating

I'm not familiar with your Hyundai, but the symptoms could be several things, I am thinking 1 in particular. Change your coil pack. I think you have the single coil pack that runs all cylinders. They can break down inside and not create the 20,000 volts or so that you need consistently. When you get to running temps, the coil gets extremely hot and can start breaking down and losing it's power.

Does bulb socket have a ground wire, or just uses mounting point as ground? Check for voltage at each part of system. Start with fuse, then switch both in and out of reverse, then bulb.

find a Hyundai dealer or a locksmith, they should be able to make a key from your ignition cylinder

there is a schedule in your owners manual

I would check your fuses first,if all are good , there is a switch in your shift console that triggers the back up lights to come on, this is not easy to get to so take your time

Most of the time this needs to be done at the dealer, unless it came with programing instructions that worked your stuck going to the dealer, sorry

Buy a cheap shop manual to get complete valve adjust procedure.

Darren, this is from a 2007. But give it a look.

take your car to auto zone or any parts store that will run the check engine light test for free. See if they can pull a code telling you what is causing the light to come on.if there is no code no one can tell whats wrong until it reappers if this is helpful please leave good feed back

Check the fuse to the radio.

With your key in the ignition, do not turn it, open the fuse panel by the drivers side door, pull out the 30amp P/CONN fuse at the very bottom (mine was in a weird yellow casing) then plug it back in. The disk drive of the radio should make a noise. Now start your Tuscon and turn on your radio.

have you checked in the coolant , it is the only other place it can go , if it has you have a cracked engine block
