Timing setting on diesel engine
THEIR ARE NONE.. ITS A DIESEL.. IF YOU HAVE REBUILT THE ENGINE? THEN YOU HAVE MARKS THAT HAVE TO LINE UP OTHER THAN THAT.. THE COMPUTER DOES ALL THAT.. IF YOU BREAK A SPERTINE BELT? DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. THE COMPUTER WILL ADJUST IT.. I OWN A 99 F-350 S.D. 4X4 AND HAVE REPLACED SEVERAL BELTS AND JUST ATTACHED AND STARTED AND WENT DOWN THE ROAD.. THEIR IS NO DISBRT. ON A DIESEL.. ITS A DIESEL THE MOST SIMPLE ENGINE THEIR IS..
Wipers won't come on in cold weather
To be honest havent had the priviledge of working on one as yet but a 2011 vehicle then i wouldnt mind betting that their is a circuit board somewhere under the bonnet and this is no doubt made in china and a pound to a penny the components are inferior grade silicon used in the micro chips .Why not just put a manual over ride switch in to the slow speed on the motor direct bypassing the fancy auto switch stuff .,this will save you a lot of money on expensive parts which will be dealer only
Air blend door actuator
If you hear clicking, the actuator has most likely broken one of its teeth. A common problem. You need to track down the noisy actuator. Depending on the location and function of the actuator they can be relatively easy to replace or very expensive(labor $). The actuators are cheap compared to the expense to install, in some cases.
