They did a good job hiding it, but here's where to find it. It is in the engine compartment, on the driver's side (but towards the center), and is along the firewall between the engine and passenger compartments. The two silver-metallic refrigerant lines run horizontal from the passenger side (then turn and penetrate into the passenger compartment. The port is on the low side facing towards the front of the vehicle. You might need to move a hose out of your view, especially if you have the 4L engine (since the "big plastic cover" narrows your field of view.I hope that helps.

I believe on the typical vehicle, they are located underneath windshields crowl, plastic trim that wiper arms come out of... passenger side, if it is accessable from inside passenger glove box, more than likely u gotta pull stuff out to get at it or your just not identifying it, find what it looks like online to help identify it
