Every time i apply brake pedal i hear a very lite ringing sound in cab somewhere,i shut all electronics off and it still does it.

May not be the cap at all. it may be your shoes or pads. Do you have spoked caps. My caddi did and the sound was coming from the cap shifting on the rim due to briken tabs that hold cap tight to rim. Could be almost anything in cap but more than likely you have a brake issue.

2006 Chevrolet Duramax block heater trips on a

Hi Funny,

If a GFCI trips or causes a breaker downstream to trip, something needs to be altered. Do not by pass a GFCI. It is designed to save lives and property.

It's drawing a lot of current. The most likely cause is the cord you are using is too light (14ga. or higher) or too long.

Depending on the length, extension cords should be 12ga, minimum, preferably 10 ga. When in doubt, go heavier.

The block is supposed to heat up, not the wire.

Best regards
Mike

2500 HD chevrolet low idle problem

Engine stalling and rough run issue at low speeds

This problem is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and throttle valve. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control

Year, Make, Model, and Engine Size? Sounds like the blower motor resitor or module depending on your vehicle. Most gm vehicles you can grind the resistor/module under the passenger side of the dash near the blower motor. Post your vehicle specifics and I can be. Ore specific if needed.
