How to replace all fuel lines ?

There is not simple answer to that! (I am assuming that your truck is the EFI model, and not the earlier carbureted version.) You will first need to relieve all pressure from the fuel system by either disconnecting the inertial switch and attempting to start the vehicle, or disconnecting the fuel pump power and attempting to start the vehicle. Once you have depressurized the fuel system, start tracing back from the fuel rail! There will be a pressurized supply side going all the way back to the electric fuel pump, and there will be a low-pressure return line from the other end of the fuel rail returning to the gas tank. You will find that many of the pieces for that vehicle are PRE-FORMED STAINLESS STEEL, and some of those pieces will need to be ordered from Chevy. Best of luck to you!

How to replace all fuel lines

If you have never done this before get some help from some one that has. It is not a very hard job just time consuming. The main thing is that you keep all the new lines away from a heat source and keep in mind that part of the line is made out of steel. Just follow the same patern of the old lines you should be fine. Just make sure all connections are tight.

Knock sensor replacement

Depending on the year, you can one or two of them. Newer models have two. One on each side of the block, located about in the center of the block. Older ones stick out a bit and are about the size of a silver dollar. Newer ones have a bolt that goes thru the center of them with some wires attached. Be careful, the older ones mount into a water jacket. Antifreeze will come out.

Truck will not take gas at pumps

Look for an obstruction in one of the fuel fill lines. Either the liquid line or the vapor fill line, has an obstruction. There may be a kink in one of the lines. There may be something inside that you didn't put there but is there. Look at the filler lines and how they are routed. They should travel downward, to the fuel tank. Has there been any work down recently, in that area?

Will not shift into 4x4 drive

The Front Axle Actuator is probably your problem. I have replaced my Actuator TWICE in the last 7 years.... The Reason for the Service 4WD was the Failed Attempt. If you are able to test the Power going to the Actuator and there is none, then you have one of 3 switches that went bad but Chevrolet/GM is known for having the Defective Actuators. Aftermarket Actuators are available. f25b3488-08ed-419b-acd4-38bcd0197eee.jpg

Siverado diesel overheating

What year is the truck? The first two things to consider checking would be the thermostat and the fan (for the radiator). Would you give more information/details. What tests have you all ready run? What repairs (if any) were performed before this issue. What is the condition of the antifreeze? How does the radiator cap look? What is the temperature of the antifreeze when it overheats? Can you see the antifreeze circulate after the thermostat opens (it could be caused by a faulty water pump, bad propeller)? If i can be of anymore help, let me know. Good luck.

Duramax will not start plugged in ran then died wont start again. any ideas?

I take it that your engine is a diesel (glo-plugs) in which case the pumping of the accelerator is just good exercise for your leg but does nothing for the engine as it does not have an accelerator pump. faulty glo plugs will only make for hard starting on cold mornings so that will be out also. So the next ting that will give some idea as to the problem will be to have the fault codes read and that will show up the area and sensors that are causing your faults.
