all cars made for 100 year like to short cheap harnesses. that rub, fray and short from VIBRATION not more it does the worst it gets. my buddy captain Dick almost died in C5 Galaxy with short;in the harness mid cargo bay. he saved the day by pulling the connector there and the fire ended. ( got burn hands doing so but lived) on your car pull the loads to HVAC controller may be the blower motor shorted. test and isolate related parts and the actual shorted device is found, and fuse holds or is wrong fuse there. oops use correct amps rating only. 2009 is the year of BAD CAPS PLAGUE. so the controller caps may be hard dead shorted out as they surely love to do. then. (cloned caps H3LL)

Does the car have any check engine lights? When it is running does it idle at the same rpm or does the rpm fluctuate?

I guess changed word mean replaced, with new COP coil? well; engine is first , the spark then fuel injector do DTC P0301 was set, and is still set this error, be specific on DTC errors, even tell them. 301 means weak combustion on #1

I have two ideas on this. Have you disconnected the battery or had it drain flat recently? It may be the anti-theft immobilizer, and needs resetting. The answer is No to both questions. The security system and immobilizer is there to stop exactly what you are trying to do, start the car without the correct credentials. You can't reprogram computers (ECM and BCM) and the security modules and sensors. You have to fix the issue not find away around it. the labor to remove and install pump is the same for new or used.. I would buy a new pump however it is your money.

On a 2001, and because it is only on one side of the vehicle, and because it is the drivers side only, my guess is that the wire that goes from the driver's door to the door frame is damaged. The best course of action would be to take it to an auto electrician for diagnosis with their pro grade scan tool computer.
