Check if happening at specific settings on the fan. Fans use resisters to slow down their speed. Typically the lowest setting will mess up before the highest. If coming a going means you change the speed and it goes away. If it doesn't matter what speed, there is probably something in your vents. Do you park outside? new one on me this. I would suggest you disconnect the battery for 24 hrs to let the ecu etc reset, but make sure you have a radio code if needed. Then reconnect and see how you get on. blower relay will be near or in the fuse box under the hood. this is most likely the cause, but could also be a short.
