If you look on the bottom of the relay you will notice some numbers 30,87,85,86 ! 30 an 87 are power an starter , 30 has B+ , if you jump 30 to 87 the vehicles starter should spin . 85 should have B+ when trying to start the vehicle , Now 86 is the control from the PCM - engine computer , an you can check for control with a test light connected to the B+ post on the battery . Then touch the point side of test light to socket 86 while cranking the engine , if the test light flashes the PCM is trying to energize the relay .
