What causes a 2012 Hyundai Sonata to jerk while gears are changing?

Check fluid level and condition first. If that's OK you have a bigger problem. There are several sensors that could be bad or there could be an internal problem. If the car is under warranty take it to the dealer. If not find a local transmission shop.

Sensor a crankshaft

A crank sensor is an electronic device used in an internal combustion engine to monitor the position or rotational speed of the crankshaft. This information is used by engine management systems to control the fuel injection or the ignition system timing and other engine parameters. Before electronic crank sensors were available, the distributor would have to be manually adjusted to a timing mark on the engine. The crank sensor can be used in combination with a similar camshaft position sensor to monitor the relationship between the pistons and valves in the engine, which is particularly important in engines with variable valve timing. This method is also used to "synchronise" a four stroke engine upon starting, allowing the management system to know when to inject the fuel. It is also commonly used as the primary source for the measurement of engine speed in revolutions per minute. Common mounting locations include the main crank pulley, the flywheel, the camshaft or on the crankshaft itself. This sensor is the most important sensor in modern day engines. When it fails, there is a chance the engine will not start, or cut A crank sensor is an electronic device used in an internal combustion engine to monitor the position or rotational speed of the crankshaft. Csn that be the problem why my sonata doesnt wane start no lights is coming on

If you are saying that no lights (headlamps, dash, tail) are working and car doesn't crank over, bad battery connections or blown fusible links are most likely issue.

Do i need to take another writen exam for driving

it all depends on the state your moving to. You'll just have to call a DMV in the state you want to move to and ask, but since you dont have your license and only a permit, I'd bet that you would have to retake your exam. Please rate my answer!

Does anyone know the torque specs for big ends and main bearings for a Hyundai sonata 2.4 late 2005 model.

I hope you can read it? It gives the spec in nm and ft lbs, use one or the other. I don't know about early or late model? The engine code is G4JS for these specs. My colleagues say, free info is not the best. you get what you pay for. This info came from my database, right or wrong. It wouldn't hurt for you to double check. 26213596-ymgjifyi3yprpdud52gkkwjq-1-2.jpg

Radio Doenst work

Could be a fault radio, but have you had the radio out of the car at all? Most stereos have a fuse directly on the back of the unit as a final safeguard.
