You have to know how the system works before replacing parts . The headlamp switch is a low voltage input to the BCM - body control module ,The BCM along with other modules on the vehicle all share info , send commands on what is call a serial data communication network . ( it cuts down on the amount of wiring need on the vehicle ) When you turn on the headlamps a low voltage signal is sent to the BCM ,with the software programmed into it , it sends a message to the TIPM - totally integrated power module , which is part of the under hood fuse / relay box . You probably got a shorted fan motor relay. Pull fan relay and replace with another and see if that fixes problem. You can use another relay from same fuse box.

Could be several things including one of the oxygen sensors, one of the injectors, the coils, or the engine computer. You will probably need to get a shop manual to get all of the wiring diagrams connected with that circuit. And I would suggest you use a circuit breaker to check each one instead of fuses. You'll have to disconnect each component until you find the short.

Check the heater cores. There are usually 2 in a T&C. Also check the pipes running to the rear heater core. I recently had to have mine repaired because they were leaking!

Get under the engine and attach a car battery charger red lead to the heavy red wire on the starter, connect the black wire of the charger to any clean bare metal part. In 15 minutes, you will be able to open the doors. Or, call a locksmith out.

Check the fuse and relay for the Front Blower. You can swap front the back to test the relay.

You should NOT be driving this vehicle if it is in limp mode. You will need to pay a Good Auto-electrician to look at this problem. All modern cars and trucks are fitted with electronic control units referred to as the PCM and the TCM. P1698 refers to these units not communicating properly with each other. So the vehicle goes into a safety set up until the problem it fixed, Limp Mode.

If turn signals work on trailer when headlights are off, but won't when headlights are on it still sounds like the ground is not good enough to allow the extra load. This happened to me and it was driving me nuts. I had to remove the ground wire and wire brush it till it shined, When I reconnected, problem gone. Also, make certain you have a good ground at the lights on the trailer. I sprayed the ground wire with battery protector spray in the hope of preventing corrosion.
