2012 Chevrolet Cruze - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
WHAT SIZE BATTERY DOES THE CHEV CRUZ 2012 1.6 USE
Great question...The normal new car battery rating is 650 CCA (cold cranking amps) The new car battery usually has a prorated 5-6 year battery warranty. When replacing compare the CCA to the factory...It is always wise to upgrade to a higher rated CCA battery. Auto Zone Gold for the Cruz is a 800 CCA rated battery...Also Costco competes great in price:) All of these auto stores will have the correct battery group for your Cruz...A wise upgraded investment...The new batteries will be 6-7 year pro-rated, with some 100% 3 year replacement. Be sure to compare:)

Maybe it is manufacturer specific code. Check with their service center. If it is OBD2 code P0165 it mean that
O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 3).

P1B00 code for Chevy cruze
That is not a valid code for your car. If it is P1800, that is the code for a transmission control module Power Control Relay Circuit Open which can lead to harsh shifting (among other things).
2011 cruze new starter tested battery at 12.9 connections clean and tight when turning key all that happens is one click
Battery is shot. Modern batteries can test near full voltage and still not be able to deliver much current. If you wish to be certain, have the battery tested with a tester capable of measuring the CCA rating. Believe you will find it's only capable of providing less than half the rated output. Probably even less.
I use a Solar BA-7 tester to check all my batteries and charging systems.

Battety voltage in a modern car means is still important, but it's actually less important than how much current the battery is capable of delivering.

Considering the age of the battery for that year car, before you do anything else, try a jumpstart to see if the car will start. If so, you may just have a weak battery that needs to be replaced.
Unlike cars of old, modern car computers will deny power to critical circuitry when the battery falls to a certain level. Without getting too involved in explaining, this protects the sensitive circuits of your car from ill effects of a battery on it's last leg. Lights on and no attempt at start is indicative of intentional computer protect.
What a weak battery did to fry a cars clock windings in the 50's and 60's would certainly wreck a lot of options in the modern car so the computer protects those circuits through power denial.
Good luck.
