Check your owners manual. I am not familiar with your exact vehicle, but most all come with an shift interlock override that will allow you to shift out of park without power.

newer cars use BMS brain (and look MA, less fuses, sure less) and this brain has smart electronic fuses, (that auto reset) LED dead or what,/??? why looking for fuses no told but are in fact everyone told in the SM the rover service manual. newer cars also have smarter monitors on lamps and the error out for overcurrent or undercurrent if you'd have scanned the PCm it would show you exactly that. no problem told at all just HUNT for things that do not exist now. is this and LED upgrade project , not told nor al things that fail or do not fail ,related not sure me what's up here. at all. scan the PCM and or RESET THE BCM

Hello. It seems your ECM/PCM are to blame. The 'computer' is 'shorting' out the battery; causing it to discharge AND upsetting the anti-theft system, including the 'starter' circuit. It's possible too your key and/or key fob can be malfunctioning too. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Yes it has a battery, two possibilities a rechargeable one, or a 2032. if you have the full black plastic cased fob it is a rechargeable battery. (most likely version) to replace that will require some deft soldering skills. may writes ups available on multiple Land rover message boards

Try a graphite lock lubricant. It works better than wd40

Be prepared to get wet. Remove the filler cap AND the plug in the top of the radiator. Undo the clamp ring on the bottom radiator hose and prise the hose off the flange. It is best to "back flush" with a hose pushed into the bottom flange (seal around with a rag) before replacing the hose and clamp. Fill the system with new coolant through the top of the radiator then BUT NOT EARLIER, start the engine and top up via the header (expansion) tank. Check the coolant level again after running for a short distance and top up as required

If the fan continuously runs while driving as well You should suspect the relay. If the fan does not run while driving suspect a bad sensor. There is an under hood fuse block as well as another in the back that may contain the relay you seek.

try the relay. They usually do not fail in the on position.. but its a shot.

I have seen a few problems with the cooling fan on Land Rovers. Usually the relay portion of the fan fails. For a while Land Rover had fans on back-order because so many where failing. I would recommend having the fan/relay checked. FYI the relay module and the fan are usually one assembly.
