Question edited for clarity. The code is capital P and zero, not small p and oh (o). Plus toss in some caps and move to model category.
Error code P0128 indicates that your engine coolant temperature is below the thermostat regulating temperature. This means that your Engine Control Module (ECM) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has recognized that your engine is running cooler than it's supposed to.

You may have a serious problem. Take to An Auto parts store, they may run error codes and help understand what is going on.
I had a car that behaved very bad, turned out to be the air mass meter was bad.
Since you replaced the battery, and it worked once, there seems to be 3 main possibilities. First, the fob itself is not receiving full power from the battery (contact corrosion) or the battery is being drained by the fob by not fully releasing the button. Open and check for this. Use a pen point to manually push the little black (usually) button that the plastic button pushes against. It should click or give some other sign of returning to an 'up' position when released if it's working.
Sometimes with an older fob the mechanical action of the button is worn and off center. A dab of good glue and a bit of cardboard or some other non conductor carefully placed under the button can be kludged to get this fault to disappear.
The second main possibility is that the car's receiver or antenna is faulty, not streaming the signal from the fob to the car's computer ECM or BCM (Engine Control Module or Body Control Module) whichever unit is responsible for triggering the lock/unlock functions.
This is more serious and truthfully the BCM is expensive to replace and check (usually Dealer Only). Try the fob cures first.
