I have a 2006 Volvo
Did you reprogram the remote after you changed the battery? It loses its mind when the battery is pulled.
Keep in mind that the drivers and the trunk latches have extra switches in them for the alarm.
A bad door latch switch may be confusing the system.
I suspect that if you replace the drivers door latch assembly, all your problems will vanish. Is this isnt work and need reprograming the remote there is no onboard programming
procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be
connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote.

My passenger side power mirror
on most cars you can just replace the class. ask your volvo dealer if they have a part listing fo the glass only. some mirrors snap in then some are glued in. if you are able to get your hands on a new mirror glass you can look at the back of it to see if it snaps in or not.

T5. How can I remove air filter housing?
Hello. Remove your car's air filter by 'releasing 2 metal clasps on the air filter box and remove air filter. 3-4 bolts are under the air filter. Disconnect/release clamps and lift out air filter box. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.
Volvo s40 2005 starting but not accelarating
Do you have anymore information. If so please forward everything you have regarding this problem. If the car is starting, running but not accelerating there may be a problem with the accelerator pedal position sensor or related circuit. Usually the engine light will turn on because the EMC identified a fault and a code or codes will be stored. If the engine light is on or flashing please have the codes read. take it to a power steering specialist shop and have them check the drive belt first and the the power steering for failure
