More then likely the coiled ribbon electrical contact under the steering wheel is defective, it is called the "clockspring" contact.

call the dealer see what they recomend

replace the spiral spring wires under the steering wheel

go to auto zone, they can show you.

It may have a foreign material stuck in it.

replace the fuse and see if that did it.

Many things can cause your problem but the most common is either a heat shield or a retaining clip that has come loose.
