Does one have to change

Scheduled Maintenance Services, for most Cars, has to be done at 30K, 60K, and 90K. Hyundai dealer recommend to replace the timing belt at 60K Service.
If you wait, one of two things could happen: Nothing, or the belt could break and you would be out thousands to repair the engine instead of a $400 hundred to replace just the belt. If it breaks, there will be damage done to the valves and various other internal components, which will not covered under warranty. The problem is that the Dealer would charge you between $700-$800 because they would also replace the water pump at the same time. Or you can buy the timing belt and change it by your self. To do so, you nee the Haynes Repair Manual specific for your car another equivalent.

You pay Garmin 50 bucks for a map update. Software and firmware updates are free if you go to the website and do download the necessary software. Then you hook up garmin to your computer and run the software and wait - it takes time.

Is it hard to replace a clutch in the above?

Get a Hyundai manual from a Car Parts store and read up. I think it would be a big job and without ramps or a hoist and some help to lift the gearbox out, it would probably be safer and quicker to get someone who does clutches to do the job. Check if its a cable operated or hydraulic clutch first. If its a cable, it may just need adjusting, if hydraulic, it may need some fluid. If there is a fluid loss, you will need to locate and repair where its leaking from. Hydraulic clutches don't usually need topping up.

Whats involved in replacing the timing belt on hyundi tuscon v6 2009

A lot. everything on the front of the engine has to come off. Just to get to the timing. Replace the belt, pulleys, tensioner and water pump, if it's in there. You only want to do the once. You really need a manual, and follow it closely. Or you could end up with a blown engine. If someone has done this before, it takes about 4 to 5 hours. A first time person. At least 8 to 10 hours.

Your truck has a timing BELT that should be replaced every 60,000 or sooner and multiples of that going forward to prevent damage to the valves. Recommended Maintenance Schedules

check /replace clutch cable or replace master cylinder. If the clutch has not been replaced it may need a clutch kit as the indications are that the pressure plate is weak ( worn clutch plate or from overheated clutch)
