2009 Hyundai Azera - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I have 3 issues with my 2006 Azera. 1. When the
1. The tapping is normal for an engine with hydraulic lifters, it's perfectly normal, and I promise nothing is broken or breaking.
2. The transmission has some sort of blockage in a screen or valve body or something, it needs a reverse flush and new filter from a dealership, NOT some fly by night repair shop, and MAKE SURE the dealer will flush the transmission, NOT just drain and fill, which will not solve the sound issue.
3. The clunk is probably a failing transmission, I'm going to speculate and say the car has a fair amount of miles on it, you are not the original owner from new, and you have not personally had the transmission fluid flushed, nor have you any evidence saying the fluid was changed before you bought it.
Get the fluid in the trans back flushed, and change the filter, hopefully you'll get a few more miles out of it. Good luck.

Ihave code p0731 stuck in 1st ratio .. what mean that code?
obviously refers to auto trans , could just need the trans fluid level topping up or even changing , if this does'nt resolve the problem then a more in depth diagnosis would be required at a repair shop as could be the ECU for example but do the fluid checks and go from ther ,keep me posted

Noise from front of car even when not in gear
Lots of noise where there should not be any signals trouble. Do
not drive it in case you are causuing damage...it is probably best if you can, to have it checked as soon as possible

I have changed 2 batteries
I would recommend that you measure your output voltage and amperage from the alternator (the voltage regulator is part oft he alternator). It could be that the alternator is not producing the voltage and amperage to operate you vehicle so there is a steady drain on the battery instead of mainly during starting.

I recently purchased a 2009
Try 1 depression of the gas pedal before you crank the engine, this will reset the Air control module manually.

How can i fit engine belt of hyundai azera 2009
Find the tensioner. The serpentine belt tensioner is what
holds the belt in place with the correct tension: it is held to the
engine by two bolts. Some describe the Hyundai Sonata tensioner pulley
as attached to a teardrop shape, with the bolts holding the structure to
the engine.
2
Remove the two bolts near the tensioner with your wrench (bolt size may vary by model). Take off the tensioner and the belt.
3
Use a belt routing diagram or your own sketches to replace
the serpentine belt. This is helpful for some models: from the power
steering pump, the belt goes to the left of the idler pulley, then over
and around the right side of the air conditioner compressor pulley, around the left side of the crank pulley, to the right of the tensioner pulley, and down to the alternator.
4
Replace the tensioner and the new belt together. Mechanics
recommend seating the belt on the tensioner before replacing the
tensioner onto the engine rather than trying to pry the belt over the
pulley.
5
Tighten the two lock bolts that hold the tensioner.
6
Check to see that the belt is seated correctly on all of the
pulleys. Run the engine and observe to check for proper installation.

Hyundai azera how to replace brake rotors 2007
- jack car up
- take wheels off
- take brake calliper off
- center wheel nuts will be punched in to keep it locked so you will need to lift this tab to loosen the nuts,(will require a power bar with a big pipe as they are preety tight)
- center nut off
- rotor should slide off preety easy or use a soft face hammer
This procedure is pretty common with all cars.installation is reversal of the above procedure and
dont forget to lock your center wheel nut .
