My Honda Fit had a strong gas smell. For 2 years I lived with it. I took it to 3 different mechanics and none could find anything. They couldn't smell it. I did find a Honda thread that discussed this same issue, and people found out that some of that year and model Fit had left the factory with spark plugs that weren't properly tightened, so gas leaks by. Eventually, the spark plug(s) work their way out of your engine, like it did with me going 70 mph on 93 in NH. Traumatic experience. Spark plug and melted coil replaced and no more gas smell. Honda must know about this. People have been complaining. There should be a recall.

Agree that both shouldn't fail together. I suggest change one anyway, never hurts to carry a spare.

So many things can cause this ... has the car been in a fender bender ? has it caught underneath going over a high speed bump .... are there rodents in the garage where you park ... the list goes on. All the harness's need to be checked. Sound like a bad or loose ground wire ... maybe to the motor. This is also common after an engine swap where the mechanic doesn't properly connect all the grounds.

Nothing wrong with the relay, it is to new. and they rarely go bad. I have replaced maybe 10 of them in 35+ years. More likely a high pressure switch, even more likely is the compressor or related part on it.

lost the operator guide, or never looked in the glove box? its there. you can google that. and find it, like 100000 ask ,. nobody ever looks at the manual or throws it away or not replace it. dont get stranded, keep it in the car. here it is, no lost. read page 248 , not clear the solution, ask then,.! http://justgivemethedamnmanual.com/honda/honda-fit-owners-manual/

Something broke inside door probably lock linkage rod inside door panel needs to be disassembled

Change the battery in the remote, then reprogram the remote, {key fob}activator inside door making any sound? If so, the connection is working, just not sending the correct signal.

Most dealers will reset this at a there place of business,or try a tire store just ask what the cost is. Worst case is that the sensor in the tire is bad usually covered under car warranty,ask first.

all that is normal but the overheated ,did it?there are 6 signs of overheated. ask. at least.modern cars the EFI systems. try to prevent damage by driversthat ignore overheating,my chev PU, cuts injectors 1 by one till the goofy driver, parks car.please say , what happens next. wont start?btw 2,my guess, is your engine stalled, ? and you then didnt noticehard steering and 3td time applied brakes are harder?and that RPM hit zero, and engine went silent? (my wild guesses)yes> that the dash does show the test lamp modeto understand that, get in car, turn key to Igntion on, no startsee all those lamps glowing, it is a self test.the glove box oper. guide explains that on how to start the engine page.the CEL comes on , on all stalled engines. this only means.the PCM has power, (elect) and thinks, its kinda ok. selfttest ok.brakes and charge glows, for same reason,.selftest , RTM.if the CEL comes on , driving, and the overheated happensif you do a OBD2 scan tool scan, it shows overheated.if fact obd2 scans will show the actual engine temperature.200f normal 250+ overheated.if all this is hard, , find any ASE mechanic.and btw, do not run an overheated engine or the $5 bad hose becomes a new engine time.
