Truck just died at stop sign a block from home and will not start

assuming the vehicle is a diesel because you say you drained the water separator ? What engine ? What fuel pressure does it have to the injectors ? Do the injectors fire ? Ford 7 3 powerstroke crank no start due to low icp injection pressure... Do you know how to trouble shoot diesel engines ? Your best bet take it to a qualified repair shop .

My 2008 f350 super duty lost power while I was drivng it. What is wrong with it?

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Are you saying it went into limp home mode, not much power, or you lost all electricals and it died? If it is the latter, make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Check your charging system. Follow one of the positive battery cables, see if it goes to junction block, if so, check fusible links. Any electrical component that doesn't work, if fuse protected, check that fuse circuit for voltage. Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on. Use a test lite.

Where would I find the plug for the engine block heater if this truck had one?

Explore all openings in the front bumper. Most likely tucked in one of those.

How to repair 2008 ford F-350 diesel showing code P2033

code p2033 refers to exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor 2 bank 1 circuit high === causes wiring short to ground --EGT sensor . check the wiring for shorted / broken wires and replace the sensor . If there is no problem with the sensor or the new sensor fails early I would be checking the fuel settings on the pump ( pump timing and cc ratings ) as a hot diesel exhaust indicates over fuelling or pump timing too far advanced.

Retrieve pin code

This is from page 38 of the navigation system manual. I hope it is the right one for your system: " If the PIN is forgotten, you can disable Valet Mode by disconnecting the battery or removing the appropriate fuse for one minute to reset the system." Here is a link to the manual: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/08pnosn3e.pdf

2007 350 twin turbo ,oil getting in turbo and reducing engine power on my 2008 ford 350 diesel

This is a hard question to answer, but I will try to help. I would assume that you have taken some portion of the turbo system off. First, it is possible for one side to be good and the other to be bad. You would want to look at the exhaust ports from the heads to see if there is oil going to the Turbo from a bad Valve seal from a cylinder or a bad oil ring on a Piston. Once you are assured that the problem is in the Turbo, there are oil seals on the rotor shafts. If there is a roughness in an oiled bushing or shaft surface, the Turbo slows down. This would reduce power. You may be able to feel the roughness with your hands. Another Fixya Expert may be able to tell you more about testing the RPM of the Turbo and they may know how to do it without disassembling them. I hope my input has helped.

My 4x4 light flashes on and off and never locks the transfer case my truck is a 2008 f-350 v-10

It sounds like the actuation motor, for the four wheel drive is broken. Inspect the motor for power, ground and performance. Take the motor off and inspect the coupling for damage. What testes have you run so far? Please let me know how you make out. Good luck.

Topping up oil in my 350 super duty when the paper gasket on the oil bottle fell into the oil refill and went into the engine. It is made of a paper product about 3/4 inch round and less than a 23in

Probably not. Not because it is made of paper, but because of the size. Its too big to stop up most oil passages and the pick up screen in the pump, even if it did make it down to the oil pan. Time will tell.

Ford F-350 blower only works on high?

It will either be the switch or the blower motor. You can test the switch with a volt meter at the blower motor conection and see if the voltage changes with the switch. I do not know what the actual voltage should be, but if you get nothing accept on high the its the switch. Otherwise look towards the blower.

My ford 2008 f350 died and wont start it cranks but seems like its not getting fuel

The following are the general instructions on the start of diagnosing any electronically controlled engine or transmission problem.

The engine and the automatic transmission (transmission control is only for automatics, engine is still computer controlled no matter the transmission type) in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM), which is very rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical issues as well such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or other pressure related problems. Also engine mechanical problems can and do cause many drive-ability related problem such as rough idle and other symptoms.

SYSTEM WONT BLEED

diesel engines high pressure pumps not suppose run dry.diesel fuel keep high pressure pump cool and lubricated.problem could be fuel pressure regulator in the fuel filter water separator housing.replace fuel filter see if it helps problem could be fuel pressure regulator in fuel filter housing, the fuel pressure regulator has a air bleed orifice that allows vent to the fuel tank.make sure fuel pump fuse okay pump getting power. i would let garage or dealership check it out if all fails because your diesel engine fuel timing is pcm controlled if let fuel system go dry you probably have to have fuel injection timing reset or could have damage high pressure pump letting it run dry i hope thats not the case because high pressure pump not cheap part i hope it not that.
