go to a local national auto parts store O Rielys..Autozone, Carquest, NAPA they have a scan tool that'll retreive fault code for free.
that's a good place to start.

You need am auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to check long term and short term fuel trim, check MAF and o2 efficiency. With that consumption your spark plugs should be black, if the engine management system is dumping fuel. The other possibility is that you are 'lead footed', racing from traffic lights, revving through gears, using 'kick down' all the time, and stomping on the brakes at the last minute. That would easily shave 50% off normal consumption.

For the passenger heating, that one is easy, blend doors stuck, blend door actuator failed, or a linkage has come off. Videos show how to get there and check.
Vehicles with more then one module , PCM - engine control module , BCM - body control module , EBCM -anti lock brakes , SRS - air bag module etc... all communicate on a serial data communication network .
"NO BUS" means that the communication system between the computers has stopped. How to Diagnose Controller Area Network CAN If the shop can't find a problem your not going to , very complex . There have scan tools and lab scopes to test .
Are you sure it is not out of gas. Or does the car not turn over. Need more Info Thanks Jim Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jim_c09d8140f32619a8
This is a notorious problem with '08/'09 Journeys. Unfortunately Dodge, nor the dealers have identified the root cause. Dealers will start by replacing the WIN (wireless ignition) module, then the starter, followed by relays, the ELV module, and finally send you on your way. Soon you will stranded with a NO START / CRANK INOP problem again. There is no real solution identified... ...and that's a travesty. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
I have taken my 2010 Dodge journey in 3 times. Actuator replace system flushed out and still no one knows the answer. It's getting cold here so I think the answer is sell it.
I am not familiar with this model but this sounds like an indication of possible serious engine wear. When you say loud are we talking about knocking noises? When the big ends and mains wear the oil has a bigger gap to go through and so the pressure goes down. Lower pressure means lower oil use and even more wear. Fit an oil pressure gauge to check for problems.
iring, schematic, electrical diagrams, torq setting, error/fault codes, full asse mbly/dissembly, service instructions and a lot moreetc are basic contents of these online books they here on this website https://big-manuals.com/
They don't call it that , it's a transmission range sensor . It's on the transmission or inside . What problem are your having ,maybe we could help with a diagnostic path .
