My dodge caliber in stuck in neutral
You have a cvt transmission in it. First check the fluid. It takes special fluid. Don't use regular transmission fluid in it. If it is full, have the codes read. It could be the TCM, a chip in the transmission, or clutches are worn out.
I have a 07 dodge caliber and the cooling fans run
Well, you have special model then as this feature wasn't on any cars since the 1984 Ford Escort. Sounds like the relay for the fan is seized-up, so try swapping-out the relays in the electric box in the engine compartment and see if it goes away - AND don't forget which was the BAD relay.
How do I turn off radio
If you just turn the car off one notch, the radio will stay on. If you turn the key all the way off and remove it, it will stay on for a short time delay, OR until you open one of the doors which will shut if off with the key out.
I have a dodge caliber 2012 everything was great
IIene, this really is not enough information to give you a good answer. Knowing the engine code that came on will be a big help. There are a lot of things that could be causing the problem including sensors, the PCM (computer) and even the alternator! Yes, the alternator, which has caused many other Chrysler vehicles to trip a check engine light and show a transmission solenoid code. It will cause the engine to idle rough and when at a stop in drive, the speedometer shows about 10 to 20 MPH even though the car is not moving. Bad diodes in the alternator play tricks on the PCM causing this issue, but it doesn't sound like you have the same problem. More information is needed. The engine codes and more specific info about whats happening is needed. One cheap part that COULD be the problem is the MAP sensor. Manifold absolute pressure sensor. It's a $20 part and takes 5 minutes to replace. The first thing you need to do is have the codes read. Most automotice parts stores will do this for you for free. Good luck.
